What this site is

smartpacts.io is an informational site with browser interfaces to smart contracts. The SPT token contract is deployed on Kadena mainnet on all 20 chains, its sale contract on chain 0, and this site builds transactions against them that you sign in your own wallet. The games section sells tickets in games of chance run by a separate contract on Kadena mainnet, chain 2: tickets are paid in real KDA and signed in your own wallet, each game states its terms and risks on its own page, and the contract’s rules decide every outcome — subject, until the contract is frozen, to the admin override the games page states.

Roulette is offered on a separate site of ours, play.smartpacts.io, under its own terms published there; these terms do not cover it.

As-is, no warranties

The site and the software behind it — on Kadena mainnet and on any test network — are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, and freedom from defects. Smart contracts can contain defects. Test networks can be reset at any time and their state (including any test tokens and test keys) can disappear.

On Kadena mainnet, transactions are irreversible. A transfer sent to the wrong account, a token moved to the wrong chain, a vote or a claim signed in error cannot be undone — not by us, not by anyone. The SPT contract has no function that reverses or refunds a transaction and no way to recover tokens or funds sent to the wrong place; the games contract refunds a ticket only in the two cases it defines, which each games page states, and the site cannot act on your account at all: it builds a transaction and your wallet signs it. What you see in your wallet before you approve is the last point at which anything can be stopped. Every transaction also costs a network fee, paid by the account that sends it.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Smart Pacts shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site or the software behind it, on any network.

The code governs

The deployed smart contract code is the sole authority on how the system behaves. Where anything on this site and the on-chain code differ, the code controls. You can verify the deployed source yourself — the transparency page compares it against the published source ↗ in your browser and shows what the administrator can and cannot do.

Your responsibilities

Eligibility and local law. Participation may be restricted or prohibited where you live — you are responsible for your own eligibility and for the laws that apply to you.
Your wallet and your keys. This site never holds a key for Kadena mainnet: every mainnet transaction is signed in your own wallet (EckoWallet, Zelcore, Koberlet, a Ledger, or a mobile wallet over WalletConnect), and the security of that wallet is yours.
Know which network you are on, and check before you sign. SPT is on Kadena mainnet, where KDA and SPT have real value. Every page states which network it is talking to. On mainnet, confirm the amount, the recipient and the chain in your wallet before approving — nothing can be reversed afterwards.

Games

These terms apply whenever you buy a ticket in a game on this site, in addition to everything above. The games notice on each games page applies too.

Who may take part. You may buy a ticket only if all of this is true: you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher; taking part is lawful for you, both where you are and where you live; you are not a person, and are not acting for a person, whom sanctions law forbids from dealing with us; and you are taking part for yourself, with money that is yours. Buying a ticket is your confirmation that all of it is true. This site cannot check your age or where you are, and whether you may take part is your responsibility alone.
What a ticket is. A ticket is a chance to win a prize in one round of one game, on the terms that game shows before you buy: its price, its fee, how its prize is split, its prize ceiling and its three instants. The first ticket of a round fixes those terms for that round, for everyone. Under the deployed contract’s rules nothing on this site and nobody at Smart Pacts can choose a winner, change a result or run a draw again. Until the contract is frozen, its admin keys can override those rules — move money out of a pot or change any record it keeps, including who owns a ticket — as the games page states.
Every purchase is final. A ticket is refundable only in the one case the games contract defines, stated on each games page: nobody drew the round within 90 days after its drand beacon was due. There is no other refund, no cancellation and no exchange, for any reason. Check the game, the amount, the account and the chain in your wallet before you approve.
What you pay is at risk. Most tickets do not win. Take part only with money you can afford to lose, never to win back a loss, and stop if it stops being entertainment.
Where prizes and refunds go. Prizes are paid inside the draw, and refunds are sent, only to the account that bought the ticket, on the chain where it was bought. If you lose access to that account, the contract’s rules let nobody redirect them; the admin override stated on the games page is the one exception.
Taxes. Any tax on what you pay or win is yours to work out and pay.
Games can change or stop. We may stop offering any game, or the whole games section, anywhere and at any time; retire a game; or change a game’s terms for its future rounds. A round that is already selling keeps the terms it opened with — the contract fixes them, and only the admin override stated on the games page could change them — and runs to its draw or its refund.
Our liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Smart Pacts is not liable for any loss arising from taking part in a game — including a round refunded under the contract’s rules, a draw that happens later than its instant, or a failure of a network, a node, a wallet or this site. If you take part where you were not permitted to, or in breach of these terms, the consequences are yours, and you agree to hold Smart Pacts harmless from any claim that results.

Third-party services

Wallets, block explorers, API nodes, and the hosting platform are operated by third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for them; their own terms apply.

Content and source code

Governing law

These terms are intentionally jurisdiction-neutral pending legal review: no choice of law or forum is made here. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence remain unaffected.
